"Owning an Art Gallery was my destiny." Following in the footsteps of her father, Patrick Kutinyu – "the greatest artist I've lived to know" – art became Thelmah's nature.
Art was her anchor through life's changes, a constant thread connecting Zimbabwe to Malawi.
Destiny arrived unexpectedly when children seeking fabric scraps sparked the fire that became Silver Bells Helping Hands. This is where her two worlds unite.
"Born to artistic parents, I got my brain artistic and my hands crafty."

Moyo: the Shona word for Heart
"Little children came to the shop... their need was clear... My passion for the children took over my life."
What began with children seeking scraps became a sanctuary. Silver Bells Helping Hands provides essential care, fosters learning, and celebrates the belief that "art is our culture." It’s a place infused with moyo – Heart.
Here, where "a child's presence is a whole world of art on its own," potential flourishes against the odds. Your appreciation of art at Moyo Art Galleries directly nurtures hope and creativity, helping these children build brighter futures.
Nurturing children with essential healthcare, daily meals, and the warmth of 'Moyo' (Heart) at our core.
Opening doors through foundational education, literacy support, and skills for brighter tomorrows.
Sparking imagination with art supplies, creative workshops, and celebrating culture as a source of strength.
Cultivating resilience and empowering each child to envision and build their own brighter future.
"The dream I had almost stopped looking for found me."
Moyo Art Galleries is more than my dream fulfilled – it's a platform with purpose, rooted in 'Moyo' (Heart). It sparked from a chance encounter with Tomasz during a Polish Medical Mission visit. Our connection grew into a partnership built on shared vision and his crucial support, launching the gallery I'd always longed for.
Together, we aim to share authentic African art globally, bridge cultures, and champion the children at Silver Bells Helping Hands. This is art with heart, reaching further.
